Job Description

The Web Developer serves an essential role at the agency, building custom websites for our clients on the Webflow platform, making updates to existing sites to improve their performance, and developing conversion-focused landing pages for our ad campaigns. This position works with all departments, including copy, design, social, and digital search. The perfect fit for this role will be meticulously detail-oriented, organized, communicative, and always curious to learn about and use the latest web development tools available.

We build all of our websites on Webflow and our landing pages on the HighLevel platform. Familiarity with these platforms is essential to stepping in and contributing to the success of the team on day one. We strive to create modern, accessible, easy-to-use websites that tell stories and create a human connection between the reader and our clients’ brands. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Building Websites and Landing Pages: Design and build templated and custom websites in Webflow, as well as landing pages in HighLevel.
  • Ongoing Hosting & Maintenance: Vet, recommend, and execute post-launch client updates. Manage all incoming web requests from clients.
  • DNS Management & Integrations: Manage domain DNS records, troubleshoot hosting/domain issues, create and maintain integrations with third-party platforms through webhooks, native integrations, and Zapier.
  • Creative Direction: Conceptualize page layouts, animations, and user interactions; suggest color palettes, typography, and layouts before build-out.
  • Project Management: Facilitating the web build process by leading weekly web meetings, organizing web project statuses in our project management system, and communicating deadlines internally with the client success team.
  • Optimizations: Assisting the digital search team with website optimizations to improve load times, mobile responsiveness, and updating embed codes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure work is branded appropriately, accurate, mobile responsive, and meets high-quality standards.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Intuitive Communication: Communicate clearly with clients and teams. Be personable, professional, and responsive.
  • Attention to Detail: Recognize and correct spacing issues, formatting issues or inaccuracies, sharing accountability for quality.
  • Organization and Project Management: Be highly organized, multitask projects, and hit deadlines working out of Monday.com
  • Resourceful Self-Starter: Own projects, take initiative, make decisions, and follow up to meet projections.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of web development experience
  • Experience with domain DNS management
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment
  • Insatiable curiosity and self-motivated learner

BONUS POINTS:

  • Web development experience in an agency setting
  • Knowledge of digital marketing (Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO, Social Media Advertising, WordPress, Webflow)
  • Exposure to marketing platforms like HighLevel and Hubspot
  • Experience leveraging AI and Zapier to automate tasks and integrate third-party tools
  • Project management experience
  • Familiarity with the legal industry
